Data released this month from comScore show that Google was the top smartphone platform in February, among U.S. smartphone subscribers age 13 and up.
Based on a 3 month average ending February, 2013, Google held a 51.7 percent share of smartphone subscribers, down 2 percentage points from November, 2012.
Apple was a gainer, seeing its share rise from 25 percent to 38.9 percent in the same period.
